Paying HMRC by credit card

Not free but it has become cheaper using personal cards…

The current 1.5% fee for paying HMRC this way has been replaced by a rate that depends on the type of card used and whether it is a personal card or a corporate card.

The fees for using personal credit cards have been reduced and those for using corporate credit cards increased.

For personal Visa and MasterCard’s the range is 0.374% to 0.606% and for corporate ones 1.508% to 2.406%.
